We got chicken, because we thought it would be "safer." I felt so gross all that night and the next day. Why I was able to tolerate fast food when I was younger, but now not, is a mystery to me. I don't miss eating it either, especially with so much other great food out there waiting to be made and shared. There is nothing like real, home-made fries either, btw.
I really liked reading this post!engramahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11501139052368634979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8135108678421156552.post-33737086864157094392010-01-11T07:09:43.975-08:002010-01-11T07:09:43.975-08:00Thanks for this. People really are nuts about it, and I don't think it's worth the hoopla. It's my least favorite kind of burger (thin and over-sauced) and I've only had good fries there once. I do like their milkshakes, though not as much as I used to. And I too hate the way my body feels after eating fast food.

I admit that I still stop at McDonald's sometimes (even though I've read FFN and know how terrible it is), but I've learned that the hamburger Happy Meal is more than sufficient for a hungry adult. That being said, we recently got Juliette a Happy Meal after a late morning doctor's appt. We ordered the apples, thinking that they were the healthier option. They were nasty. I couldn't figure out why they tasted so weird, but they're soaked in some solution that adds a ridiculous amount of vitamin-C but is obviously a preservative. Gross, gross, gross. Maybe I'll give it up forever, too.kwpersheyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02313821985751564632noreply@blogger.com
